Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani is a 1970 Indian film. In it, an honest civil servant named Shankarnath refuses to accept bribes and as a result makes little money and has trouble taking care of his family. His three children complain and even go on a hunger strike to protest. To teach them a lesson, Shankarnath puts them in charge of the family expenses, and they quickly discover their father has been doing a much better job managing money than they thought.
