Chicago Med is a medical drama television series that premiered on NBC in 2015. Created by Dick Wolf and Matt Olmstead, the show is a spin-off of the popular Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. series. It centers on the day-to-day operations of the emergency department of Gaffney Chicago Medical Center, which is located in the city's bustling downtown area.
