Watch Rain or Shine

After hearing about Kang Doo's condition, many people, including Moon Soo, Mary, and Sang Man, volunteer to donate their livers to him. However, it is not easy to find a person with a compatible liver. Yu Take resigns from his director position, and Yu Jin becomes the head of Chungyu Construction. Jae Young decides to work in Sook Hee's store for a year.

Things have become hectic since human bones were found at the construction site. To prove his father's innocence, Ju Won creates a design in the same way his father did. Jae Young learns about Kang Doo's liver condition and gets frustrated to find out that there is nothing she can do for him, including donating her liver to him. Kang Doo collapses in front of Moon Soo's house.

Moon Soo and Kang Doo openly talk about their traumatic memory with each other. Kang Doo and Yu Ji start working on something to help Ju Won. Moon Soo gets hugely shocked after discovering something in Kang Doo's room. Moon Soo visits Sung Jae's family, and his mother behaves as if he is there alive.

So Mi recommends various new places for Moon Soo and Kang Doo, but Moon Soo doesn't seem so interested, unlike Kang Doo. Yoon Ok and Dong Chul start to blame each other for what happened in the past. Meanwhile, the conflict between Moon Soo and Yoon Ok rises to a peak, and Moon Soo leaves the house.

Kang Doo finally signs the contract with revised terms and conditions. Moon Soo secretly gives Jae Young the medicine Kang Doo has been taking for a long time. Meanwhile, Yoon Ok witnesses unbelievable footage when she is passing by the place where the accident took place.

Sook Hee passes away, and Kang Doo not only finds a will Sook Hee left to him but also inherits the land she owned. Ju Won tells Moon Soo to take charge of designing the memorial park. Kang Doo keeps avoiding Moon Soo, thinking she deserves a better guy. Jae Young asks Moon Soo to secretly bring the pills Kang Doo is taking to her.

Kang Doo goes out to the sea to let Moon Soo live a better life without him and to get over her, but it's not easy. As Sook Hee's health condition worsens gravely, people around her start to accept it in their own ways. Mary gets mad at Yu Taek after learning that it was Kang Doo that he fired the other day.

After seeing Kang Doo and Yu Jin together by chance, Moon Soo gets the wrong idea about them. Yu Taek visits Sook Hee to persuade her to sell the property she owns on the construction site. Kang Doo is fired, and In Yong gets demoted in the bank. Moon Soo visits the husband of a woman who died in the mall collapse.

To resume the construction, Kang Doo and Moon Soo visit all the places to get the materials. Yu Take, feeling lonely, meets Mari often and finds comfort in the time he spends with her. Moon Soo learns about the shocking past of Chul Woo, Kang Doo's father, and feels complicated.

During the night Moon Soo and Kang Doo unexpectedly spend together, they talk about their late family members and get even closer to each other. Ju Won feels dizzy all of a sudden, and Kang Doo gets hurt by trying to save him. Kang Doo hears that Moon Soo lost her memory once after hurting her head.

As Sook Hee starts to act strange, Kang Doo has a bad feeling. Sook Hee visits her property located at the construction site of Chungyu only to get kicked out. Sook Hee collapses on the street, and Moon Soo takes her to the hospital. Wan Jin learns that Jin Young is a talented aspiring webtoonist.

After the memorial stone for the victims of the S Mall collapse, Moon Soo and Kang Doo went around to visit other memorial stones to get a good idea for the new memorial stone. Yu Jin and Yu Taek have an argument, and Yu Jin finds Yu Take unreliable regarding his management. Moon Soo and Kang Doo also visit the bereaved families.

Moon Soo keeps asking Kang Doo questions related to the S Mall Collapse, which he finds annoying. She gets his address through her coworker and goes to to apologize to him. But then he takes her out of the club, and they end up drinking together. Meanwhile, Yu Jin is still hung up on Ju Won, but he is cold to her. After he calls her to talk about the memorial stone project, she meets Yu Taek to get approval for the project. However, Yu Taek gets furious to find out that Kang Doo will be in charge of it.

Jae Young passes out after drinking with Moon Soo, and Moon Soo feels guilty. Moon Soo runs into Kang Doo at the hospital Jae Young is staying and gets his help with letting Jae Young get in the taxi. Moon Soo enters the restricted area at the construction site all alone and falls into the drainage hole.

Moon Soo starts to work for Ju Won's company for the bio city project and keeps running into Kang Doo. Yu Jin comes back to Chungyu Construction and takes over the project Ju Won has been working on. Kang Doo also starts working at the construction site, and he breaks the memorial monument to the victims of the accident.

Moon Soo is a modeler, and she lost her little sister when she was young in an accident where Kang Doo lost his father. Moon Soo starts to work with Ju Won's construction company for the bio city project. Kang Doo works all the tough jobs to support his little sister, Jae Young.
