This movie centers around an underdog Little League team called the Robins during their 1974 season with Rafer, an autistic newcomer. Zack, team leader, decides to help Rafer despite ridicule from the Hawks, their rival team. The Robins manager and coach, Rebecca, and the whole team actively encourage Rafer as their success grows. With time they begin to learn what is most important in life: courage, friendship, sportsmanship and so much more.
