Amudhey is a romance film directed by Ezhil. It the story of a forbidden love and the struggle that a couple in love goes through while fighting to be with each other. It is the love story of Nancy and Dhinakar - two neighbors who fall in love but can't get married since their parents want them to marry their own choices. Unable to escape from their arranged marriages, they decide to obey their parent's wishes. Dhinakar gets married to his cousin and Nancy to Victor but not before the two agree that they would soon divorce and marry each other.
