As It Is in Heaven is a 2004 Swedish film. Kay Pollak directed Michael Nyqvist and Frida Hallgren star in the movie. The movie was a major success in Sweden, and it also was incredibly popular in Australia. It received and Oscar nomination for Best Foreign Language Film. The story is about a successful composer named Daniel Dareus. He suffers a heart attack during a performance and is forced to retire. He movies to a village in the north of Sweden. He helps with a local choir and eventually accepts a position to sing in the choir. He meets and falls in love with a young girl named Lena. This opens the door to all sorts of problems and trouble.
