Best Friends is a Lifetime TV movie telling the story of crazy neighbor Claudia who wants Beth's life, husband, and child for herself. Claudia drugs Beth causing her to appear to be driving drunk and also making it look as if Beth is racking up thousands in gambling debts. Once Beth is out of the picture in treatment, Claudia moves in on Beth's husband and son. Claudia helps out Beth's family so much that they come to depend on her.
