Mike and Christine are a successful upper-middle-class couple who seem to have the perfect marriage. They have also found themselves in a routine that includes watching TV, petty squabbling and a shared enjoyment of fine wine. When during one of their standard evenings of low-level marital hostility at home, there comes a knock at the door and everything they know is set to change. Their son Sebastian has found himself in a bit of trouble with a local street gang and the gang members have decided to camp out at his home for him to return and to hold his parent hostage until he shows. The couple may find a new appreciation for each other, but they have to survive the night.
