Cold Weather is about the story of a man named Doug, who is moving in his new home with his sister, Gail. Doug used to live in Chicago, where he was majoring in forensic science and lived with his now ex-girlfriend Rachel. However, after landing a job ay an ice factory, he meets a man named Carlos, who is one of his co-workers that is also a DJ. Doug's ex-girlfriend, Rachel moves to Portland so she can participate in an on the job training program at the home office of the Chicago law firm where she currently works. Unfortunately, she disappears one day and it's up to Doug and Carlos to investigate her disappearance.
