Watch Devilwood

This film short is set in 1700s England. It centers around a highwayman's experience in a village that is remote, and not what it seems. A stranger arrives in the village, finding it filled with drifters and prostitutes. He asks to pay money in return for special papers from a local lord. But another stranger enters the village on his heels--a beautiful girl. Neither are who they claim to be, and the main character finds himself trapped between the two of them with dark forces at work.
