A freestyle DJ, Bix, is on a perpetual quest for a new sound to deliver the ultimate experience to his audience, but nothing seems to be quite right until a stranger from his past, Curtis, arrives with a strange request. Curtis shows Bix a machine he created, a Teslascope, to receive transmissions from intelligent species not indigenous to Earth and asks for his help interpreting what he has heard. Once Bix hears the new sound, he becomes transfixed on broadcasting the experience to his fans. Unfortunately, more than one group of violent people is after the Teslascope at any cost.
