Family Reunion: The Movie is a independent comedy film released by Artisan Entertainment in 2003. The film was directed and starred Red Grant (The Last Stand, Leprechaun in the Hood). The film tells the tale of The Best and The Black families, both of which are exceedingly dysfunctional and slapstick whom gather every year for the annual family reunion barbecue. This once jovial celebration quickly deteriorates into anarchy when a host of crazy characters begin showing up, such as a ex-con, a lascivious old woman with the hots for the other families patriarch, a former pimp turned priest and a drop out drug dealer.
