Gone Fishing is a tale of man embarking on a deep sea fishing adventure who seems to have other plans. His lack of planning is apparent with his choice of an aging sailor who seems anything but up to the task. Coincidentally the area that is chosen for the expedition is where his alienated daughter resides. The drama unfolds ensuing his decision to head out on the seas to fish for sharks.
