Approaching the wedding date of two people, the man loses his job because of his uncontrollable temper. His fiance tries to get him to study law, which he refuses, and takes a menial job instead. The day before the wedding, the man gets a notice from the draft board, and is forced to leave, however, his mother assures his fiance that the war will be over soon, as her son has never held a job for long.
