High and Low is a crime film that was released in 1962 in Japan. A man is part owner of a company, and currently in a dispute with co-owners of what direction the shoe company should go in. The man’s life is the disrupted when he learns that his son has been kidnapped, and they want a sum of money that would require him to sell his stake in the company. The man turns to the police, and they quickly suspect that the kidnappers are the co-owners. However, they now have to prove that they are, and find his son in the process.
