In this action/adventure film, Texas oil field construction worker Billy Hurricane Smith takes a leave of absence in order to travel to Australia to search for his missing sister. While there, he befriends a local pimp and his girlfriend Julie and gets involved in a war between crime bosses Charlie Dowd and Howard Fenton. But once Hurricane discovers that his sister died at the hands of mobster Dowd, he vows to avenge her death.
