A family of explorers risk everything to find a mythical island in the South Pacific. This island is the home to thriving species of landlocked animals that have escaped the normal ravages of evolution. Each creature has adapted to life on the island by growing lethal modes of hunting. Among the hoards of strange creatures, the expedition discovers a wayward child obviously abandoned by his tribe. Somehow, he has managed to escape the threat of the wild beasts. He is a living symbol of the superiority of humankind in any earthly environment.
