Mix "Swingers," with a dash of "In The Company of Men," shake well, and you get "Jerks," a ruthless account of four friends who live life on their own terms. But their "just the boys" lifestyle of beers, barbecues and babes is about to change when RICO, the lady's man of the group, makes a play for corporate success at the expense of his friends. Their once strong friendship slowly dissolves as they learn of RICO's manipulative ways and are face with the realization that they may not be more than just "jerks." Writer/Director Ted Grouya skillfully combines brash comedy with insightful drama to paint an honest picture of the private lives of men who are clinging tightly to an archaic concept of manhood.
