Watch Just to Get a Rep

This is a documentary movie about the fight of graffiti artists to be respected. They want the respect of their fellow artists. They know the authorities will never be able to admit they have a valid point of view. This movie follows the street artists of New York. They use their aerosol spray cans to create art, and make themselves known in their world. It examines the tradition that has been handed down by several generations of these artists, both in New York and the world at large.

The authorities have always banned this form of art. It is punishable as a crime, yet it still exists to this day.
