Watch Life and Debt

The movie Life and Debt is a documentary that is designed to show the different spectrum of classes in Jamaica. Director Stephanie Black shows the different sides of Jamaica in concerns to what tourists experiences and what the natives of the land endure. It shows a culture dominated by globalization. This movie speaks volumes about how the country has been developed through high interest loans and how the rich countries will ultimately control the fate of smaller communities like Jamaica. It essentially presents a behind the scenes look at a tourist spot that has been exploited by price fixing methodologies.
