Marilyn Monroe: In The Movies is a well done tribute to the movie career of one of Americas most reveered sex symbols,Marilyn Monroe. This Documentary covers Miss Monroe's cinematic journey from her first movie, Dangerous Years which premiered in 1947, to The Misfits in which she starred with then silver screen superstar Clark Gable. The Misfits which was released in 1961 came out less than a year before her untimely death. It focuses heavily on her more famous works like Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, and The Seven Year Itch. In 1999 The American Film Institute voted Marilyn Monroe the sixth greatest female star of all time.
