The documentary film tells the true story of a young Sicilian emigrant who in a few years becomes head of the American secret services (the OSS, Office of Strategic Services, the forerunner of the CIA) for operations in the Mediterranean and for the military campaign of the Allied forces in Italy from 1943 to 1945.
