Everyone has fond memories of the iconic children's television host. But can he really have a profound effect on the life of an adult? This 2010 documentary tells the story of a television producer who was very inspired by comments he heard Fred Rogers make about what children's television should be. In turn, MTV producer Benjamin Wagner decided to apply the "Rogers Approach" to his own work and his personal life, especially in terms of parenting his children. In addition to following Wagner, the film features insights and interviews with other television celebrities and producers.

The documentary went on to win a " American Public Television Programming Excellence Award".
