Watch Paper Dolls

This documentary tells the story of five migrant workers from the Philippines, all of whom are in the process of undergoing gender transition. They have emigrated to Israel in order to find work as healthcare providers for senior Orthodox Jewish males, whose caregivers must be male in order to followreligious rules. These five transsexuals get together on their nights off in order to perform in drag as a group called the Paper Dolls, headlining at a nightclub in Tel Aviv. Special focus is given to the worker named Sally, who cares for an elderly Jew recovering from throat cancer.
