High schooler Haru meets Jun on a hunt for her late father's old lover, Sachiko, who used to live in Jun's park-side apartment. When the two discover Sachiko has also passed away, her grandson Tokio finds an unfinished recording of Sachiko and Haru's father singing a love song. With the powers of newfound friendship and inspiration to guide them, the trio set out to finish the song.
