Peppermint Soda is a film about two sisters who are growing up in Paris during the early sixties. Annie is quickly maturing into the life of an average teenage girl and lives with her mom and older sister. She struggles to do well in her harsh school environment and lives on the edge of her sister’s more exciting life of budding romance and drama. Annie’s life is full of awkward moments with her divorced parents, demanding teachers, and boys. The movie follows Annie as she navigates events that are important to her even when she isn’t always noticed or taken seriously.
