Jessie Weston is an ex-con recently released from prison. He is welcomed back by his best friend Dillon and brother Paul. His old girlfriend Mary, the daughter of the corrupt sheriff who was responsible for Jessie's arrest, however, doesn't seem very welcoming. When Dillon is murdered, the sheriff frames Jessie, and Jessie must go on the run to try to prove his innocence.
