Watch Sherni

Sherni is a 1988 film that focuses on a Village belle, Durga, that lives a fairly peaceful life. However, when her gypsy father gets on the bad side of Thakur Dharampal Singh and is badly beaten, life isn't so peaceful for the Village belle anymore. Durga's father joins a band of robbers and seeks revenge against the Thakur. However, the Thakur turns of him and ultimately threatens great harm on the Village belle's father. Since Thakur is so powerful and influential, the police force refuses to get involved in any way with the situation. This ultimately leaves Durga with only one choice.
