Joey lives with his mother Jeanne, and ever since his father walked out on them, he's been becoming a juvenile delinquent. At her wit's end, Jeanne decides to look for a big brother (sort of surrogate father) for Joey, who is paired with the clumsy and jovial Arnie. At first, he doesn't know how to handle Joey, but after a while everything changes for them all.
