Thale is a fantasy and a mystery movie from Norway. It is partially based and draws inspiration from an ancient Nordic folklore about fantasy creatures roaming through forests. The movie starts as two friends find a surprising visitor in their basement. She appears to be a very beautiful young woman, at a moment completely confused and full of secrets. It seems that she may actually be a seductive forest creature who is remembered through folklore stories. The horror of the situation fades away as it is replaced by fairy tale fantasy with two friends trying to make the most sense of what exactly is going on.
