Watch The Californian

The Californian or The Gentleman from California is an American movie set during the 1850's, shortly after California became a state. The title character is a young man who returns from Europe to find his family and friends suffering under a corrupt government that taxes them heavily and steals their land. He becomes a Robin Hood figure and defies the politicians and protects his people.
