Watch The Princess of Montpensier

The Princess of Montpensier is a drama set among the brutal Catholic and Protestant wars that destroyed France in the 16th century. The film follows Marie de Mezières, who is in love with her charming cousin Henri de Guise. However, for political reasons, her father forces her into a marriage with Philippe de Montpensier, a man Marie has never met. Philippe is called to fight in the war, and Marie is left in the care of Count Chabannes, an older gentleman who has a contempt for war.
