"Trafic" (1971) is an Italian/French comedy. It's about the woes of an inept automobile designer who has to take his latest creation to an automobile show in Amsterdam. Of course, since the film is a comedy and road movie, the designer and his traveling companions encounter problems like surly border guards who impound the car, a mechanic who take forever to fix things, and a car accident. They also encounter such oddities as a gas station that gives away busts of historical figures.
