Underworld, also marketed as Transmutations, is an 88 minute long horror film from the United Kingdom around '85. The fiendish Dr. Savary has used his knowledge of biochemistry to engineer a subterranean-dwelling species of subhuman creatures. Each and every one of Savary's creatures is addicted to a consciousness-boosting chemical that inflicts horrible physical changes. The creatures' only hope for salvation is an antidote that requires Nicole, an upper-income call girl. Roy is the dauntless hero and former paramour of Nicole whom is hired to rescue the woman.
