Watch When the Lights Go On Again

Ted Benson was a World War II Army Corporal who was discharged from the service because of shell shock. He suffered a mild concussion during a taxicab ride, bringing on his shell shock again. He had trouble remembering people he's known for years. While on the train ride home, the train engineer was bothered that Ted, who he's known Ted's entire life, didn't remember him. The engineer reminised to a reporter about the time before Ted left for the service. When Ted was dating Arline Cary, his parents objected to it. Ted and Arline eloped before leaving for the war.
