The Great Debate is a television show which aired on VH1 in 2009. The show is hosted by renowned ring announcer Michael Buffer, who is known for his catchphrase "Let's get ready to rumble!" The Great Debate brings together some of the most controversial and iconic figures in music, sports and entertainment to discuss a wide range of topics in a lively and entertaining manner.

Each episode features a panel of six celebrities who are divided into two teams. The panelists are chosen for their ability to argue both sides of a debate and to engage in witty banter. The teams are given a topic, and they have to debate it in a fun and competitive way. The judges, who are also celebrities, choose which team argued better and accordingly, that team gets points.
