Watch Time Regained

This French drama is based on the writer Marcel Proust's memories as he nears the end of his life. It is based on the last installment of his series called, In Search of Lost Time. As Proust looks through old pictures, he recounts the experiences that had the most influence in his life, especially involving his career and the effects of the first World War. The movie later shifts focus to his closest friends and love interests. The acting is strong with solid performances by Catherine Deneuve and John Malkovich. The film has the beautiful city of Paris as its background and is directed by Raoul Ruiz.
