Watch Fran Gets Mugged

Though Brighton is against the idea, Fran insists he go with her to pick up his new glasses. Offering to run some errands for Maxwell while she's out, she mistakes a priceless original page of William Shakespeare's notes for his list of things for her to do. Then, as she and Brighton are walking back through Central Park, they are mugged and Fran's purse containing the valuable artifact is stolen. As a result, his inability to do anything about the mugging disturbs Brighton. As she's being questioned about the crime, Fran takes notice of the handsome detective assigned to the case. Yet, Maxwell is less than happy with her flirting, as Detective Abramowitz seems to enjoy every minute of her attention. While the assault has made Fran unusually paranoid, Maxwell considers taking some kind of action to restore Brighton's shattered self-confidence. But when Maxwell notices the Shakespeare he was loaning to a big charity benefit is missing, he discovers it was stolen along with Fran's purse.
