Watch The Ex-Niles

After he reprimands Niles for snooping, Fran and C.C. square off over which one of them would make Maxwell the best wife. To settle their disagreement, Fran suggests letting psychologist Dr. Joyce Brothers decide. After Dr. Brothers insists on coming to the house for an in-person interview, Fran decides to refurnish her room in order to make a good impression. However, when a look at her credit application for the furniture leads Niles to believe that Fran makes much more money than he does, he asks Maxwell for a raise. And when Maxwell refuses, Niles quits. Although Fran begs him to reconsider, she's less inclined to plead Niles's case after learning she will choose their new butler. However, as Fran finds Niles a new job with her wealthy Aunt Freida, it's C.C. who hires an officious new butler for the Sheffield household.
